Description
Attached is Lesson 1 on Matthew 1 and Luke 1, the scriptures for consideration from January 2-8, 2023. Matthew and Luke are the two evangelists who give us mortal origin stories for Jesus Christ. We will have a look at how they came at that theme from different angles and how that illuminates our concept of who Jesus was and is. We will look at who Matthew and Luke were and how that shaped the way they tell the story.
We shall also have a look at some of the art and listen to some of the music (if you click the links) that these two stories inspired.
Hopefully we will be inspired as we begin our scriptural study on the life of Jesus Christ. pp.26
