Description
This is a commentary on John 2-4 the text for Lesson 6 in the Come, Follow Me for Individuals and Families manual for 2023. In this lesson we shall look at the patterns in the gospel of John and try to see what John was trying to teach us through the structure of his writings.
We will begin with Jesus’ first miracle at the wedding in Cana, and then we’ll talk about miracles in general.
We shall study Jesus’ encounter with Nicodemus and the first account of the cleansing of the temple. We shall see how John has used that story differently than the other gospel writers did. We will hear another testimony of Jesus from John the Baptist.
Finally we shall have a close look at Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman at the well. pp.33
